Luego de dos años de ausencia por la pandemia ayer se volviò a apreciar por las calles de la capital casanareña el imponente desfile militar y policial, bandas de guerra, y vehículos de la fuerza pública, en el que cientos de yopaleños asistieron a aplaudir y a vivir esta conmemoración de los 212 años de independencia.
El tricolor ondeó por todo lo alto en las muchas fachadas de las casas y comercios que no fueron indiferentes ante esta justa que nos recuerda que “Dios concede la victoria a la constancia”, como lo señaló el Libertador Simón Bolívar.
Tras entonar los himnos de la República de Colombia y Casanare, el acto solemne fue precedido por las oraciones del Capellán del Ejército Nacional, padre Orlando Meauri y del Pastor Jader Ciro, luego se pidió un minuto de silencio por los uniformados que han muerto durante el servicio.
Como es tradicional en estas fechas patrias, el gobernador Salomón Sanabria condecoró con las medallas “Gran Orden al Mérito Cívico Ramón Nonato Pérez”, a oficiales y suboficiales de la Fuerza Pública y personal administrativo.
Con la participación de distintas autoridades civiles y militares en Yopal, las calles se llenaron de gloria frente al frenético paso de la exhibición del desfile militar y de las muestras culturales y de los funcionarios de distintas instituciones que se sumaron a honrar este evento con el que celebramos el Día de Nuestra Independencia.
